Max Katz, Exadel

Max Katz is a Senior Systems Engineer and Lead RIA Strategist at Exadel. Max is a well-known speaker appearing at many conferences, webinars, and JUG meetings.

Max leads Exadel’s RIA and mobile strategy. Part of this role is working as developer advocate for Tiggr Mobile Apps Builder (gotiggr.com), a cloud-based application for building mobile Web and native apps for any device. In addition, Max leads Exadel’s open source projects (exadel.org) such as Fiji, Flamingo, and JavaFX Plug-in for Eclipse.

Max has been involved with RichFaces since its inception, publishing numerous articles, providing consulting and training, and authoring the book “Practical RichFaces” (Apress, 2008). Max also co-authored the DZone RichFaces 3 Refcard and the DZone RichFaces 4 Refcard. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from Golden Gate University.

Lukáš Fryč, JBoss

Lukas is software engineer at JBoss by Red Hat, focusing on rapid web development and testing. Currently being RichFaces Core Developer, he also acts as HTML5, Seam, Arquillian and Selenium enthusiast, author of Arquillian's Ajocado and RushEye projects.

Herbert Dowalil, Hackhofer

Since 1995 is Herbert Dowalil for the UNIQA insurance (or predecessor companies) responsible. For several years he engaged himself as an architect (among other things for the team front office and also the theme for our interface) and has in 2009 introduced the topic JSF in the company and advanced technology decisions.

Thomas Kestler, Objective

Thomas Kestler is a Senior Consultant at Objective Software GmbH, with more than 20 years of IT experience from many projects with leading German and European companies. He has conducted numerous Java projects for clients such as the Deutsche Bank AG and Daimler AG - including some reference projects. He focuses on JEE and open source. He is a frequent speaker at trade shows and conferences and has published several articles in magazines.
