.objective and the research towards tomorrow’s mobility

At the graduation conference of the European project TEAM in Berlin, .objective demonstrated that collaborative driving and traffic optimisation by digital connection are the future of our traffic network. In addition to ten further applications relating to the design of future mobility, .objective presented recent progress in collaborative driving in cooperation with BMW. In near future the plan is to relieve constantly increasing growth in traffic not by expanding street connections but instead by means of intelligent communication between traffic participants. Supporting cooperative and autonomous mobility is one of the most important tasks of the Federal Ministry of Traffic and Digital Infrastructure according to Dorothee Bär, Parliamentary State Secretary at the ministry. The audience were impressed by the assistant software for weather, parking and traffic lights presented by Dr. Clemens Dannheim and Babak Azim, including a live demonstration in real time with the help of our research vehicle.
