Turin is paving the way to become a smart city, and Objective Software, part of the Luxoft Group, is proud to bring all its expertise to take part to the upcoming road revolution. On Friday, January 18, a delegation of the Italian branch of the company met Paola Pisano, deputy major for Innovation and Smart City at the City of Turin, and signed the memorandum of understanding of the Smart Road Project.
The experimentation of connected vehicles on Italian public roads was made possible by the Smart Road Decree of April 2018, which aims to achieve an improvement of the national road networks through its gradual digital transformation. For more information, check out the official decree online.
The formal step of this morning officialises the beginning of testing activities of Objective Software’s autonomous and connected driving technology on the streets of Turin.
