Accurate and reliable positioning is one of the key drivers behind autonomous driving, enabling innovative functionalities and services required for both advanced driving assistance and, in the short term, for improved on-board safety. The set of technologies developed by .objective combines traditional satellite systems with an innovative on-board sensing platform, cooperative wireless communication technologies and Local Dynamic Maps to produce advanced, highly-accurate and highly-reliable positioning solutions for Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems and autonomous driving.
