For quick and pervasive deployment, autonomous driving has to take account traffic control infrastructure. The challenge here is the different speeds at which the two elements - autonomous cars and traffic control systems - are evolving. In recent projects, .objective has worked to fill the gap here. We develop real-time systems for traffic lights interfacing and timing prediction so as to enable augmented vehicle assistance services. Dedicated algorithms for queue estimation and lane-specific positioning complete the range of our expertise.
